Online Great Books Courses

Starting in Fall 2017, we will be offering several Great Books series courses.  Registration begins on Tuesday, May 30th.  Please check back for updated course information pages and registration links after May 22nd.

At the 6-12 grade level, each course will consist of a 50-minute Shared Inquiry discussion live each week and another 45-minutes of video content to watch in addition to approximately 1 hour of homework.

For Fall 2017 we are offering the following for 6-12 grade students.  Times listed are for the live, shared inquiry session.

Year-long courses:

  • We The People: Foundations of American Government
    • Wednesdays, 9am CT
    • Saturdays, 9am CT
  • Reading the World: Many Voices
    • Wednesdays, 10am CT
    • Saturdays, 10am CT

Semester-long courses for Fall 2017:

  • Who Am I? (to be followed by Decisions, Decisions in Spring 2018)

  • Intro to Great Books (to be followed by Great Books Roundtable in Spring 2018)
